Texas A&M University, Health Sciences Center, Medical Research Education Building


The new Medical Research and Education Building Expansion Project (MREB-2) will house state-of-the-art laboratories for the College of Medicine and the College of Nursing. The project includes a 48,200 SF vertical expansion to the existing Medical Research & Education Building (MREB-1) and a new 122,800 SF, connected building. Designed in collaboration with FLAD Architects, the new spaces will include vivaria, BSL-3 labs, a 200-seat teaching lab and associated support facilities and office space to support the diverse research activities of Texas A&M University’s Health Science Center.
